The painters have been and gone, leaving the site with a new lick of paint. There are still a few cracks to fill in over the cold winter nights, but over all it's alll systems go.

So my question is what else would you like to see on MuckFM.com?

Some ideas…….

1) Red Eye Player media player

2) How easy do you find it to navigate around the site? – what can be done to make it easier / make people read more posts?

3) Love the shoutbox and not being a DJ it means nothing to me but I feel it would be great if there were more comments and thumbs for mixes. Especially for the random first time visitors. Comments are thin and far between on MuckFM.com any ideas on how to get people talking?

4) Mobile phones – How many of you view this site on mobile phones? Does it look good what do you want added? I don't use my phone to check the website because Indonesian mobile internet is so damn slow it would be quicker to run over to Brighton have a look on the Doc's laptop and run back here.

Anything else you wish to add please shout away.

Latest site update:

1) Started compiling Red eye player playlists at the moment there are 2 Trance and Old Skool memories. You can access the list and media player by clicking on the links underneath the Random media bit at the bottom of the page

2) Added REP mix title and dj overlay – Please let me know how this is performing. It seems to take a while to load, so I may delete it.

3) Added REP player embed link for sharing on other websites/forums. Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to link it to the actual page or mp3 file just a link to the REP media player (pop-up). This is on the to-do list.

4) Updated the Facebook like link – Will now show the Muck FM logo and a description of the post / mix on the user's wall.

5) Added forum links to posts and mixes to try and get people chatting more in the forum. REP mixes will link to the Mucky Music section, all other posts will link to General Rambling section.

6) Changed the comments layout and moved it directly under the post / mix. Also moved the comment author's name above the comment. Before it was weirdly showing in the previous comment.

Also update add comment text.

7) Reduced page size – originally page was loading at around 1mb – should now be around 300k – 500k after all the external bits have been loaded.

8) Adding custom category headers including info on the DJ or category. Work in progress.

9) Removed custom user image plugin – Causing to many bugs or bloating. Now all images default to monsters which suits my 5 year old mindset!

10) Added spread the word post / mix link copy and paste at the bottom of posts / mixes to enable sharing on forums, emails and other sites.

11) Trialing MuckFM.com newsletter. Log into MuckFM.com and click on  Your subscriptions to enable. It's not very pretty at the moment, and the plugin isn't the greatest so may abandon this.

12) Removed the thumbs up/down for posts. – Big messy plugin that was adding too much crap to each page. Facebook like, forum and comments should provide enough interactive features. This leaves a big empty space at the bottom right of the page. What should be added here?

13) Added random media bit to the bottom of all pages. Will randomly load a mix or video. Changes each time you refresh the page or click on a link to another page.

14) Added links to iTunes and Android wordpress app – Enables you to post / edit site / view site on these phones.

15) Removed the Contact form from all pages apart from the ones with a contact form. Helps speed up the page. If I have forgotten a page, and you can't see the contact form, please let me know.

16) Completed move of all images, scripts and css to slutxx.muckfm.com sub domains. This helps speed up the loading of the page. If you notice any missing images, please let me know. If you see http://slut1.muckfm.com/something.jpg don't alarmed the muckiness is not just confined to the music, but the coding too!

17) Added new login form to the top of all pages. Please check out the help section for more info on what to do after your log in.

18) Updated all mix posts with a new author. Before all mixes were assigned to Doctor Muck or ETB, now they are assigned to the DJ, meaning if you have sufficient privileges, you can edit the post text. Please check out the help section for more info.

Coming soon….

1) Moving all mixes to a new subdomain = http://slut-mixes.muckfm.com to help speed up the loading and delivery of REP mixes.

2) Updating the REP media player with random mix entries to the left and ????? any ideas let me know. You can click on the Old Skool selection link at the bottom of pages to see what has been done so far.

3) How to get the radio stream on during the week. Ideas, rants and solutions welcome.
